It started with a dream

After 35 years with Nestlé, and convinced of the potential of small-scale farming, Hans Peter Imhof dreamed of creating a farm on a human scale. Together with Lesley, whose passion for Art, Italian culture and slow-food led them to Italy, the couple found their way to Puglia.  What started as a shared dream to contribute to a healthier, more sustainable world, became a reality in 2018, and thus Agricola dell’Orso was born.

With a vision for sustainable farming, Agricola dell’Orso has grown into a vibrant, thriving organic farm. Together, we envisioned a future where we could nurture the land, grow healthy food, and create a legacy for generations to come. With grit and a deep love for nature, we took on the challenge of revitalizing 6 hectares of neglected farmland. Today, that land is flourishing, not only providing nourishing produce but also serving as a testament to the power of sustainable farming. It is our mission to cultivate a better future, one harvest at a time.
